Lance James Henriksen (d. 5 Mayıs 1940), Amerikalı oyuncu ve seslendirme sanatçısıdır.

Sanatçı daha çok Yaratık filmi ve Millennium dizisi gibi bilimkurgu, korku ve aksiyon filmlerindeki rolleriyle tanınır.[1] Henriksen aynı zamanda derin ve emredici özellikler taşıyan sesiyle bilinen bir seslendirme sanatçısıdır.

Henriksen New York'ta doğdu. Babası James Henriksen (doğum adıyla Jim Marino Henriksen, Tønsberg 1910 doğumludur),[2] hayatının çoğunu denizde geçiren Norveçli bir denizci ve aynı zamanda "Icewater" (Buzsuyu) lakaplı bir boksördü. Annesi Margueritte, modellik, garsonluk ve dans işlerinde çalışabilmek için uğraşıyordu[3][4] Ebeveynleri boşandığında sanatçı iki yaşındaydı ve annesi tarafından büyütüldü. Henriksen evi terkedip okulu bıraktığında sadece 12 yaşındaydı. Senaryolar üzerinde çalışmayı düşündüğü 30 yaşına kadar okuma yazma öğrenemedi.[5]

Henriksen ilk iş olarak tiyatrolarda set işçisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. 30'lu yaşlarına geldiğinde prestijli Actors Studio'da eğitime başladı ve 32 yaşında ilk kez It Ain't Easy filminde göründü. Henriksen bundan sonra çok çeşitli yardımcı rolleri canlandırmaya başladı. Steven Spielberg'in Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) ve Damien: Omen II (1978) filmleriyle, bir astronotu canlandırdığı The Right Stuff (1983) ve Charles Bronson ile birlikte 1991 yapımı TV filmi Reason for Living: The Jill Ireland Story adlı yapımlarda başarılı bulundu.

James Cameron The Terminator filmini yazarken, Henriksen'i Terminatör karakterini oynaması için düşünmüştü.[6] Ancak rol Arnold Schwarzenegger'e gitti ve Henriksen filmde, küçük bir rol olan Dedektif Hal Vukovich'i canlandırdı. Daha sonra Henriksen en iyi android canlandırmalarından biri olan "Bishop" karakterini canlandırdığı Aliens (1986, diğer bir Cameron filmi) ve Yaratık 3 (1992) filmlerinde oynadı.[7]
