Ken Burns

Kenneth Lauren "Ken" Burns[1] (d. 29 Temmuz 1953),[2] Amerikalı yönetmen ve belgesel film yapımcısı. Belgesellerinde arşiv görüntüleri ve fotoğrafları kullanmasıyla bilinir. Yapımları arasında The Civil War (1990), Baseball (1994), Jazz (2001), The War (2007), The National Parks: America's Best Idea (2009) ve Prohibition (2011) yer alır.

Burns'ün belgesel filmleri 2 kez Akademi Ödülleri'ne aday olmuş ve bir kez Emmy Ödülü kazanmıştır. Bunların yanında birçok ödül de kazanmıştır.
