Talkhuncheh Rural District (Persian: دهستان طالخونچه)[3] is in the Central District of Mobarakeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Talkhuncheh.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,872 in 963 households.[6] There were 1,249 inhabitants in 346 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,225 in 370 households. The most populous of its 35 villages was Howz-e Mahi, with 462 people.[2]
