The Prince and the Showgirl (naslov preveden kao Princ i plesačica) je britanska filmska komedija snimljena 1957. u režiji Laurencea Oliviera. Temelji se na kazališnom komadu The Sleeping Prince dramatičara Terencea Rattigana koji je također napisao scenario. Radnja je smještena u London 1911. godine u vrijeme krunidbe britanskog kralja Georgea V, kada se tamo okupljaju mnogi monarsi i prinčevi Evrope, uključujući protagonista - regenta fiktivne države Karpatije, čiji lik tumači sam Olivier. Radnja opisuje njegov susret i ljubavnu vezu sa plesačicom (čiji lik tumači Marilyn Monroe).

Snimanje filma su obilježili sukobi između dvoje glavnih glumaca, uzrokovani različitim stilovima - Olivier je bio tradicionalni šekspirijanski glumac, dok je Monroe preferirala metodske tehnike Actor's Studija. Film je na kraju imao solidan komercijalni uspjeh, ali mlake kritike.

Godine 2011. je snimanje postalo predmetom filma My Week with Marilyn u kome lik Marilyn Monroe tumači Michelle Williams, a Oliviera Kenneth Branagh.
