Roger William Corman (5. aprila 1926.), američki nezavisni filmski producent, režiser, scenarist i glumac, poznat je po velikom broju niskobudžetnih B-filmova (pretežno horor i science fiction žanra). Nazivali su ga "kraljem B-filma" i "kraljem drive-ina" (kino na otvorenom). Kao režiser sposoban je napraviti film nevjerojatnom brzinom i s ekstremno malim budžetom. The Little Shop of Horrors (1960) snimio je u rekordna dva dana za samo 30.000 $.^[1]

Najpoznatiji je po šest filmova temeljenim na kratkim pričama Edgara Allana Poea^[2], među kojima su House of Usher (1960), The Pit and the Pendulum (1961), The Masque of the Red Death (1964).

Godine 2009. dodijeljen mu je Počasni Oscar za poseban doprinos kinematografiji. Mnogi poznati Holivudski režiseri svojevremeno su surađivali s njim. Među njima su Martin Scorsese, Joe Dante, Ron Howard i Peter Bogdanovich.^[3] U znak zahvalnosti neki od njih davali su Cormanu epizodne uloge u svojim filmovima.
