Histon acetiltransferaza (EC 2.3.1.48, nukleozom-histonska acetiltransferaza, histonska acetokinaza, histonska acetilaza, histonska transacetilaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom acetil-KoA:histon acetiltransferaza.[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- acetil-KoA + histon KoA + acetilhiston
Ova grupa enzima ima različite specifičnosti prema histonskim akceptorima.
