Destry Rides Again

Sjedinjene DržaveDestry Rides Again (sh. Destry ponovno jaše) je američki crno-bijeli film snimljen 1939. u režiji Georgea Marshalla. Po žanru predstavlja kombinaciju vesterna i komedije, a temelji se na istoimenom romanu Maxa Branda koji je 1932. bio adaptiran u istoimeni film sa Tomom Mixom u glavnoj ulozi. Radnja je smještena u grad na Divljem zapadu kojim vladaju nasilje i korupcija sve dok u njega ne dođe pošteni zamjenik šerifa (čiji lik tumači James Stewart, i u koga se zaljubi salunska pjevačica čiji lik tumači Marlene Dietrich. Destry je postigao veliki uspjeh i kod publike i kod kritike, te je Marshall 1954. snimio remake pod naslovom Destry. Godine 1959. je na Broadwayu adaptiran u mjuzikl Destry, a 1964. je snimljena TV-serija Destry gdje je John Gavin tumačio sina glavnog junaka.
