Bitka kod Dun Nechtaina ili Bitka kod Nechtansmerea (engleski: Battle of Dun Nechtain ili Battle of Nechtansmere; škotski gelski: Blàr Dhùn Neachdain, staroirski: Dún Nechtain, starovelški: Linn Garan, staroengleski: Nechtansmere) se odigrala 20. maja 685. između piktske vojske pod kraljem Bridei Mac Bilijem na jednoj, i nortumbrijske vojske pod kraljem kraljem Ecgfrithom na drugoj strani. Na temelju oskudnih izvora se smatra kako je kralj Ecgfrith nastojao učvrstiti nortumbrijsku hegemoniju nad Piktima, uzdrmanu bilo ustankom, bilo napadom kralja Brideija na Ecgfrithove južne piktske vazale. Ecgfrith se nadao da će Pikte poraziti kao što ih je bio porazio u Bitci dvije rijeke 671. Usprkos toga ga je novopostavljeni biskup Cuthbert od Lindisfarnea, njegov osobni prijatelj, upozorio da ne ide na pohod. Ecgfrith ga nije poslušao, te je dozvolio da ga Pikti namame u zasjedu gdje mu je vojska uništena, a on sam poginuo. Ta je bitka označila početak kraja nortumbrijske hegemonije nad sjevernim dijelom Britanije.
