Story of the Year er et amerikansk band fra St. Louis i Missouri. Bandet ble stiftet i 1995, som 67 North, men skiftet navn til Big Blue Monkey, før de i 2002 fikk navnet Story of the Year. Etter å ha vært et lokalt band i 7 år skrev de under en kontrakt med plateselskapet Maverick. Deres første album het Page Avenue etter det har de sluppet ut 3 album til.
