Historie

1995: Levine, Dusick, Madden og Carmichael hadde gått på skole sammen og startet bandet «Kara's Flowers.» Da Levine hørte Valentine spille på en bar (da i bandet Square) sa han at det var det beste han hadde hørt. Da Valentine ble med i bandet, kalte de seg Maroon 5.

2006: Ryan Dusick måtte forlate Maroon 5 på grunn av nerveskader som gjorde det umulig å fortsette som trommeslager i et liveband. Matt Flynn tok over.

2011: Opptreden sammen med Christina Aguilera på The Voice med den nye sangen Moves Like Jagger.
