The Tatami Galaxy (四畳半神話大系code: ja is deprecated , Yojōhan Shinwa Taikei) adalah sebuah novel Jepang tahun 2004 yang ditulis oleh Tomihiko Morimi dan diterbitkan melalui Ohta Publishing. Melalui sudut pandang perama narator tanpa nama di Universitas Kyoto mengenang kesialan tahun-tahun di kampus, dengan masing-masing dari empat bab berlangsung di dunia paralel saat dia ikut di organisasi mahasiswa yang berbeda.

Sekuelnya, The Tatami Time Machine Blues (四畳半タイムマシンブルースcode: ja is deprecated , Yojōhan Taimu Mashin Burūsu), diterbitkan pda tahun 2020, menggabungkan karakter di The Tatami Galaxy dengan plot drama dan film Makoto Ueda Summer Time Machine Blues. Terjemahan bahasa Inggris dari kedua novel tersebut diterbitkan oleh HarperCollins masing-masing pada bulan Desember 2022 dan November 2023.^[4]

The Tatami Galaxy diadaptasi jadi serial anime 11 episode yang diproduksi oleh Madhouse dan disutradarai oleh Masaaki Yuasa, ditayangkan pada larut malam di Fuji TV sebagai bagian dari Noitamina pada tahun 2010. Adaptasinya mendapat pujian kritis, memenangkan berbagai penghargaan. Sebuah ONA adaptasi The Tatami Time Machine Blues yang diproduksi oleh Science Saru ditayangkan perdana pada September 2022 di Disney+.^[5]

Night Is Short, Walk On Girl, merupakan film yang jadi sekuel dari The Tatami Galaxy, dan dirilis oleh Toho pada 7 April, 2017.^[6]
