Pemberontakan Punjab

Pemberontakan Punjab bermula pada akhir 1970an, saat beberapa umat Sikh, yang meliputi para anggota gerakan Khalistan, berubah menjadi militansi. Akar pemberontakan tersebut sangat kompleks dengan faktor-faktor utama adalah keinginan akan pengakuan agama Sikh dan bahasa Punjabi dan perlakuan tak semestinya dari pemerintah Kongres Nasional India sejak dibentuk para 1947.
