John Snow (15 Maret 1813 – 16 Juni 1858[1]) adalah seorang dokter asal Inggris dan tokoh utama dalam pengembangan anaestesia dan higiene medikal. Ia dianggap sebagai salah satu pelopor epidemiologi modern, sebagian karena jasanya dalam melacak sumber wabah kolera di Soho, London, pada 1854, yang dia tangani dengan menyingkirkan pegangan dari pompa air. Teman-temuan John Snow menginspirasi adopsi anaestesia serta perubahan-perubahan fundamental dalam sistem air dan limbah di London, yang berujung pada perubahan serupa di kota-kota lainnya dan penunjangan signifikan dalam kesehatan masyarakat umum di seluruh dunia.[2]
