Interleukin-5
Interleukin-5, IL-5 (bahasa Inggris: eosinophil colony-stimulating factor, EDF, TRF) adalah sitokina sekresi sel TH[1] yang berperan dalam perkembangan dan diferensiasi sel B dan eosinofil.[2]
Peningkatan rasio IL-5 dilaporkan terkait dengan asma dan sindrom hipereosinofilik,[2] seperti eosinofilia.[3] Tingginya rasio IL-5 juga ditemukan pada penderita penyakit Graves dan tiroiditis Hashimoto.[4]
