Chained to the Rhythm on yhdysvaltalaisartisti Katy Perryn kappale, jolla vierailee myös jamaikalaislaulaja Skip Marley. Sen julkaisi Capitol Records Perryn viidennen, Witness-studioalbumin johdantosinglenä 10. helmikuuta 2017.[1] Kappaleen ovat sanoittaneet Perry, Marley, Sia, Max Martin ja Ali Payami, joista kaksi viimeisintä myös tuottivat sen.[2] "Chained to the Rhythm" on lajityypiltään pop, disko ja dancehall-kappale, jonka sanat kertovat yhteiskunnallisesta tietoisuudesta.[2]

Kappaleesta tuli kansainvälinen menestys, sen päästyä singlelistan kärkeen Latviassa[3] ja Unkarissa[4] sekä viiden parhaan joukkoon Australiassa,[5] Britanniassa,[6] Kanadassa,[7] Ranskassa[8] ja Yhdysvalloissa.[9]

Kappaleelle on toteutettu myös Matthew Cullenin ohjaama musiikkivideo, joka julkaistiin 21. helmikuuta 2017.[10] Videolla nähdään Perry huvipuistossa nimeltään "Oblivia" ja se kuvattiin pääosin Six Flags Magic Mountainin huvipuistossa Santa Claritan Valenciassa Kaliforniassa.[11] Video oli ehdolla kolmessa kategoriassa vuoden 2017 MTV Video Music Awardsissa.[12] Perry ja Marley ovat esittäneet kappaleen livenä esimerkiksi vuoden 2017 Grammy-palkintogaalassa,[13] vuoden 2017 Brit Awardsissa[14][15] sekä saman vuoden iHeart Radio Music Awardsissa.[16]
