Ryo Watanabe (渡邉 諒, Watanabe Ryō) is a Japanese professional baseball infielder for the Hanshin Tigers of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He has previously played in MLB for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.

Career

On October 18, 2022, during the off-season, Watanabe was traded to the Hanshin Tigers in a two-for-two trade alongside Yuto Takahama, with Yukiya Saitoh, and Taiga Egoshi heading to Hokkaido in return.[1][2]
