Balan (Persian: بلان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kuhestan Rural District of the Central District of Nain County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 586 in 146 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 175 people in 58 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 179 people in 70 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
