Bābūs (Dari/Pashto: بابوس) is a village in Pul-i Alam District, Logar province, Afghanistan.^[1]

Babus it's also the streamer's "Thebausffs" (https://www.twitch.tv/thebausffs) nickname. It was created by Akyrisen (https://www.twitch.tv/akyrisen), a user in his chat permanently banned the 15th of February 2021. He also reached top 10 EUW with his League account called "Babus".

Etymology

Bābūs is made up of the Persian word Bāb (باب) meaning "father"^[2] and the Pashto word was (وس) which ultimately stems from Sanskrit वस meaning "dwell",^[3] making the meaning "father's dwelling".
