Robert Picardo (Filadèlfia (Pennsilvània), 27 d'octubre de 1953) és un actor estatunidenc nominat al premi Emmy. És conegut per les seves interpretacions del Dr. Dick Richards a China Beach, el programa hologràfic d'emergència, també anomenat com El Doctor, a Star Trek: Voyager, l'Entrenador Cutlip a The Wonder Years i Richard Woolsey a Stargate SG-1 i Stargate Atlantis.[1]
Biografia
Picardo va néixer a Filadèlfia, Pennsilvània, fill de Joe Picardo. És italo-americà, amb la seva família paterna originària de Nàpols i la materna provinent de Bomba a Abruzzo.[2] Es va graduar de l'Escola William Penn Charter el 1971 i originalment va entrar a la Universitat Yale com un estudiant premèdic, però va optar en el seu lloc per actuar. Mentre va estar a Yale, va ser membre de la Societat d'Orpheus & Bacchus, grup de cantants a cappella pregraduats. A Broadway, va aparèixer en Gemini (1977) i Tribute (1978).
